I know this is the "Picturing America" blog, but now I'm going to use it for our Minnesota Orchestra field trip blog.

Today I want you to visit two web sites. After you visit them, I want you to post an entry on your blog that addresses the following: (You'll need to really look around the sites a while before making your post!)

Happy Monday, boys and girls! This is the final week for "Picturing America". We have had three assignments. They are:

• Comment on the 4 selected photos by answering the posted question.
• Take the silver mine tour and respond to all posted questions.
• Visit the "Picturing America" website and respond to posted questions.

What I have noticed is that many of you are only completing parts of each assignment. Make sure you have done ALL bulleted items. Many of the questions have multiple parts and you are expected to complete them all. Your postings will be assessed.

If you feel you have completed everything in a thorough way, then you are free to use this time to visit blogs of classmates or to write something of personal interest on your own blog. If you are writing on your own blog, make sure to remember that a blog is reflective in nature. (Don't use it as facebook or myspace!)
